Ours beginner lessons (level 1)
Start with a strong emphasis on safety. The introduction to general horse information, horse care and handling. Learn basic parts of the horse, names of grooming equipment and how to use them. Learn basic parts of tack, how to halter, saddle and bridle a horse. Mount/dismount, basic seat, hand positions and control at the walk, trot and reverse.
One Level 1 lesson is required by all. This is a pre-requisite to
determine
you’re horse knowledge and riding ability.
Our intermediate lessons (level 2)
Improves all aspects of level 1 and progressing on through the canter or lope.

101 Horsemanship Classes begin 9/24/11 - Fall Special Only $49.00
Spend time with us learning all about horses. Each class will be geared to age of class. Requirements: closed toed shoes, water bottle and sack lunches for classes extending past noon. Helmets will be provided and must be worn by all participants. Call us for more information and to reserve your place in class. |
